La Croix du Reh dates from 1620 when an inn was built in the small village Chateauneuf
- la Foret in Haute Vienne in Limousin on
the orders of the French King Henry IV.
Over the years it has been used for
different purposes, but now, as a chambres d'hôtes (bed and
breakfast),
"La Croix du Reh" has come full circle to its original purpose - to
give shelter to the travelers

The
Garden Entrance to La Croix du Reh is the main entrance to the chambres
d'hotes (bed and breakfast), where our guests get
their first glimpse of our tranquil three-acre park.
Our bed and breakfast provides an ideal opportunity for you
to discover the wide range of outdoor activities on offer in Limousin : from relaxing on the sandy beach of the local lake in Chateauneuf
- la - Foret, visiting local pottery studio or famous Limousin
porcelain factories to all outdoor and water sports on the Lac
du Vassiviere or simply drive around the countryside to
enjoy the dramatic landscapes of the Massif Central mountains
